so... thoughts? and also maybe correct answers because I feel like some of those are stupidly hard or tricky? Like the one where the question is something along the lines of "which of these are two of the oldest families in Harvest counties?" and then the options are Goldspurs, Jarlassons, and Sunfields. ...

Okay yes, those questions were crazy, especially the realistic horse ones. I'm still laughing about their use of "gestation", like, what normal 12 year old girl is gonna know what the heck that even means! Okay, SSO.
For the question on the families I chose Goldspur and Jarlasson, because Jarl *cough* and Goldspur since it seems to have ties to the government and running of Jarl. Some of the others ones I know are right...a pony is 4ft 10 in (learned that from reading for years) and the length of time a horse is in its mother's womb is 11 months. Also Jon Jarl's # of kids is 2, I got that right by guessing on a whim.
What a thing to wake up to this morning...and Race and I can't figure out what the Arabian color was, I chose the spotted and paint because I know its right, but I must have gotten something else wrong. Whoops. AND WHAT IS UP WITH what is not a color??!?!? Did they misspell Roan, or did they decide to shorten Buckskin for whatever dumb reason? Ugh.

Funny thing is, none of the options are allowed in Arabians. Spots isn't even a color. Very few things make sense about these quizzes and I'm sad they didn't do it better, like if they had trivia and could go to the library or talk to people to learn that'd be a lot cooler. Especially for in game stuff. Mrs. Holdsworth is an accountant, but the only reason I remember that is because I recently got another account, it is mentioned once in all the quests and it is the very start of quests as well. Those who have been playing for years isn't going to remember something from the very beginning. If this was actually teaching us it could be awesome. But no, let's have total trivia and random facts about that game that may or may not actually be in the game. This isn't world building. This isn't teaching us background. This is the multiple choice hell that is akin to the US education system where you just memorize or cheat because there is no actual learning or teaching.
I'm slightly bitter.

Pfft yes, let's call the color spotted! I feel like they rushed this together, and didn't think about what the players actually knew. Some of those questions in Fir I would never have known when I was actually level 12 (playing as Vera the 1st time I did it). And I sort of remembered accountant from somewhere, but I didn't know why. I'm kind of baffled and trying to comprehend why SSO can create great horses but sort of fails at something that could be really fun but turns into another mess...
